Are my photos uploaded to a server?
No. The AI model is downloaded once and then runs locally in your browser via WebAssembly. Your images never leave your device, which also makes the tool safe for confidential product photos or personal pictures.
Which image formats are supported?
You can upload JPG, PNG and WebP images up to 20 MB each. Results can be downloaded as transparent PNG files or as JPGs with a solid background color.
Why does the first removal take longer?
On the first run your browser downloads a compact AI model (about 5 MB). It is cached afterwards, so every following image is processed almost instantly.
